I bought a 14' Latitude E5470 with the 1366x768 screen. Its a great laptop, but the screen is just very industrial, with no regards to visual fidelity.

I would love to order a better panel and install it. I was hoping to find a matte 14' 1440 or 4k screen with 30 pin EDP but no luck.

I'm about to order the matte 1080p IPS screen this model was available in, unless someone can point me to a better screen that would be compatible.

And what about my video cable? And backlight type? Can I upgrade my video cable to support higher resolutions?

Could I get someone to do the research for me and just tell me what to order for maximum picture quality possible on my E5470? Thanks!!!

I've moved this to the Dell Latitude forum. Hopefully, someone will confirm whether or not you need to change the cable but we know that the notebook supports FHD (note that FHD with 125% scaling is almost equivalent to 1440 x 900). All notebook displays for the past 7 or so years have LED backlighting so that is not an issue. My Latitude E7450 has the LGD046D panel which is very good and most likely compatible with the the 7470.
