    Hello,

i bought a used 1680x1050 LG matte panel (LP154WE2-TLB1, which is awesome :)) for my Vostro 1500. Now that i have installed it, i noticed, that the upper right part is a bit brighter than the rest of the display and also this part seems a little more yellow.

Apart from this observation the panel works flawless, a far cry from the the wxga i had before.

Could this indicate a faulty inverter? What else could cause this or is this just the way this panel is?

    thanks

Inverter defects shouldn't do this... panel defects might. Can you take a picture?

Ok, so i tried to capture it on picture, but the effect is barely visible on them. So the color on the left to middle is a bit different than the right edge. But if an inverter can't cause that, i can happily live with it.
