Updated M4600 / M6600 Reimaging Instructions (AMD/ATI FirePro M5950 / M8900

I have to reimage my M4600 so I spent some time sorting out which downloads are required and which ones are the most recent. I documented my findings based on the instructions in the Latitude E-Family Mobile Precision Re-Image How-To Guide - A05 Rev 5.0.

I got the downloads from three sources: Dell Drivers & Downloads, Intel Download Center and Microsoft. I also experimented with the Dell Client System Update application to see what it called for. This application seems to work pretty well. I installed it and I will give it a try.

1. BIOS - M4600A13 (Install BIOS before installing OS. It's also a good idea to make sure the firmware in your hard drive is up to date before you install the OS.)

2. Chipset - Intel_Chipset-Software-Insta_A04_R304291_setup_ZPE (Dell)
OR infinst_autol (Intel) (They are the same version so I installed the Dell version.)

6. AMD - ATI_MULTI-DEVICE_A01_R307665 (This driver has an older date, but it has a higher version number. It shows up as a "previous version" due to the date.)

8. Wired Network - DRVR_Network_Intel_A06-FG13K_setup_ZPE (Dell)
