is there a way to turn on only BT?

I know in the bios you can make the hard switch turn on only certain things, but then if I need to turn on the wifi i dont want to go into the bios every time.
    suggestions?

I have my switch set so that it only toggles bluetooth on and off but leaves wifi always on.

Yeah just set the wireless switch to only control either WiFi or Bluetooth in the BIOS. That way you only have to set it once...so you'll have one assigned to the switch and the other you'll have to control in your system tray for instance

It's easier the other way around.

Configure the bios to only control wi-fi via the external switch.

Then set Vista to show the bluetooth icon in the systray.
Right click on BT icon to enable or disable it.
