    I saw pictures of the 1535 and it certainly does look nice. I'm still very happy with the Vostro 1500 with the build quality and what you get for the price.

    Simple. If you don't need the video card and won't mind paying a bit more, go for Vostro 1510. They quality is very good after seeing a bunch of HPs, Thinkpads, and other Dells. Plastics don't feel thin and cheap to me. The only thing I hate about this laptop is the glossy lid !!The speakers aren't impressive either.
