Scrolling is night and day with this driver, it is so much better.

Responsiveness is now better than my father's SZ and rivaling the Synaptics unit in my old XPS M140.

I was away from my computer when I rebooted, so I'm not sure if it initializes at the proper time on my E6400. (though from what others have said, I'm the only one experiencing this, so I suspect it's my Windows installation)

    Get. This. Driver.

XPS1530 users should try this as well.

    Thanks for posting this guys.
    Works great !

Came at a very good time too.
Just got done with a fresh Vista x64 install using almost all the latest OEM drivers (non-Dell) except for CP - security manager and the touchpad.

Have to say it's been a huge improvement from the stock Dell setup.

System is now quick, snappy everything works and battery life is between 4.5 to 5 hrs on a 6 cell.

btw google Vista battery saver....it works great and makes for an easy automatic power mode change between AC & battery.

I'm using A08. I also can't notice any significant improvements, but i had no problems with the previous driver.

Scrolling on the old driver barely worked for me. It wasn't smooth, and would often stop scrolling and allow the mouse to move down the screen. Now it's flawless.

It also does not select text when using the mouse anymore.
