I am interested in the Dell Vostro 1510 but am confused about its build quality. I have read the review here which said that the build quality had "a significant degree of flex." It also stated that the " keyboard on the Vostro 1510 suffers from severe flex near the center of the keyboard." I then searched for some other posts and found comments that the build quality is actually quite good.

I understand that these things can be relative to the user/reviewer. Unfortunately I cannot get my hands on a Vostro 1510 to check it out myself. My daughter has a Dell 1420 and I am quite pleased with the keyboard on it. Can anyone tell me the build quality and keyboard flex of the Vostro 1510 as COMPARED to the Inspiron 1420?

    Thanks in advance!

what i think in my opinion and with my own experience i am very well satisfied with the vostro 1510 u should go with it .. well i got same model in India ..flex part i would say its nothing to b worried about its a nice business model which is made for sturdy performance be that the chassis or keyboard both are extreamly nicely placed maybe its not the best but its more then the price for which Vostro comes ..i agree many who reviewed felt that keyboard can be sapcious and this and that ..but are there any perfect laptops in this whole world ? :p , i am sure if u get everything then also u get reviews saying its overpriced ..so thats my personal view .. coming to the build with Inspiron i am sure Inspiron has the CANDY effect of colors and sleek curves ... minus the good build since i researched a lot before going for Vostro 1510 .. even in this same forum u get many reviews regarding the Vostro 1500 /1510 ! which helped me i am sure it will help you all u need to do is search ...
