    One scenario would be someone that runs a lot of virutal machines. Don't need a large video card for that but processing power required is a lot.

    But I can see where you are coming from if you like to do games. It can do everything processor wise but can't run it because of a slow video card.

    And some people would prefer anything that can't be upgraded later (like CPU/mobo/RAM/HDD/KB/BT/wifi can be changed later) to be upgraded at build time. fingerprint, webcam should be included in the build.
