    Are there any major differences other than the color black? I wonder why Dell didn't just offer a black Mini 9 instead?

    It should be identical to the standard Mini 9 in the same way that the Vostro 1400, 1500 and, 1700 were identical to the Inspiron 1420, 1520, and 1720. I mean you could ask the same question about the first-gen Vostros; why didn't they just offer a black 1400, 1500, or 1700 instead?

    I suppose they're just trying to further segregate their product line, but I don't think they do a very good job of it...

    I don't get why Dell has to have 4 different lines for both home and business divisions...

    They probably don't have to have different lines, but it makes corporate buyers feel better if they aren't buying the same machines that are on the shelves at BestBuy.
