What tests should I run, I just got my E6400 from dell outlet. So far, a little surprised by the temps. Cores are running at around 50C-55C, GPU Quadro NVS 160M hit a max of 73C without me doing anything, hovering around 60C but the min was 59C.

    HDD is 39C-40C

Download Furmark from here with the green download button. Install it, and run the Stability test in a 800x600 window (not fullscreen), so you can watch the GPU temps simultaneously.

For the CPU, try Orthos Stress Prime.

    I haven't heard of furmark...

I'm currently running PCMark Vantage and monitor the temps.

Furmark basically is a graphics stability test. The only one I know of, at that. I use it to test stability of graphics overclocks, and with my experience, it pushes temps as much as 5C higher than during gaming. You should try it.

I'm running 3DMark06 for that. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I got 3600~ PCMark Vantage score.

I hit 99C max during the PCMark, i'll see with 3DMark06.

I can't install wPrime for some reason? When I try to run it, it says unexpected error; quitting.
