Taking the 8600M GT from my Vostro 1500 and putting it into Vostro 1510?

    Anyone know if this will work? Thinking about purchasing a new Vostro 1510 but it does not include the 8600M GT as a option.

    No it will not work. The graphics in the 1510 are soldered to the motherboard making it permanent.

    And the Vostro 1500's 8600m GT only works for the Vostro 1500/Inspiron 1520
