I have two Dell D630 laptops. One has the 1280 x 800 screen, and the other has the 1440 x 900 screen. The one with the 1280 x 800 screen has the specs I want (T9400 CPU, 120 GB HD, no Nvidia graphics), it just doesn't have the 1440 x 900 screen.

Is this a pretty easy procedure to do? Anything I should know?

If there's no cosmetic damage that you want to get rid of, you can just swap the entire display assembly. Otherwise, you need to swap the LCD cable with the LCD.
