Swap Latitude E4300 screen with XPSM1330's?

    I have a Latitude E4300. I am curious to know if there would be a chance that the XPS M1330's (or even the XPS 1340) LED screen would work with the E4300. I doubt anyone has actually tried the swap, but if anyone knows if they are electrically/physically compatible i'd appreciate it if you would share your knowledge. Thanks!

    It looks like it might be possible to switch the E4300 and M1330 displays. At the very least, judging from the screw locations and such in the service manuals, the M1330 should physically fit. Dell doesn't show the back of the panels, so I can't say much about the connectors. Try it and find out :)

    Else, for the 1340, Dell doesn't show how to disassemble the display assembly, so I can't comment much on that.
