    Hello Guys.
I have a M4600 laptop, installed with a Intel 510 SSD drive - but i don't think the reliability is very good - my computer does often freeze because the SSD things up!.

I'm gonna RMA the drive, which SSD can you guys prefer? when speed and reliability is ver important (not money). I'm planning to but hte 520 SSD instead, maybe Intel have fixed some compatibility problems?

    Greetings
    Rasmus

I was using a Mushkin 480 GB SSD just sent it back last week.

    Now trying a M4,

the Mushkin worked great for 3 months then it started to "fail to be detected" in BIOS and took several reboots before it would finally show up, then once booted it would lock up and freeze at times.

So we'll see how it goes with the M4 now.

I also have a 128GB mSata drive, its not configured as a boot drive, but so far been working fine in my M4600.

You sure about that? i really doubt the SSD is the problem.

Yes i'm pretty sure. I tried to do a secure erase then re-install windows, but same problem. The computer isn't stable.

Tried to switch back to the Lite-ON SSD that came with the computer, now it's solid as a rock - been running for about 3 days now without any reboot.

So i can conclude that my 510 SSD s the system up! :(

I have a similar issue with my Samsung msata SSD - which is the system boot drive.
I noticed that recently when I leave the laptop idle it would freeze up after a few hours - the screen will stay black when I open the lid..
Also Adobe Flash starts to act funny...

    Any ideas?
