The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

So I tested the ol' vostro last night.

I installed 3dmark06 and expected a 2900-3100 on stock drivers, but I was dead wrong. I got a whopping 1593, less then that of my 12in tablet with tech an IGP. I was dumbfounded so I restarted the rig and re-tested same thing 1597. I was very mad and about to call dell, until I decided maybe Ill try new drivers. After a driver removal>restart>reinstall>ccleaner>restart I did the test over and got 3323. Relieved I tested UT3 and it played a lot smoother maxed out, but I still am wondering how the stock drivers could be that bad.
