I have a dell vostro 1500 how can I factory reset my system? I followed the CTRL+F11 as instructed but it only makes beeping sounds and nothing appears on screen besides the normal boot up rout.

    What do you mean "reset"
Can't you just press the power button? or hold it down if the comp is frozen?

Nah I mean I want to restore my system completely as if newly bought.

It says in the manual to hit CTRL+F11...however this does not seem to work. The only cd I received with the system is the reinstalling dell mediadirect one.
