    Hello, I am new to the forum.
    I bought a used Latitude E6230. Out of curiosity I removed the cover below and saw that in addition to the slot wifi and wwan slot there is a third slot under where it says "1/2 mini", I would like to know what it is for.

    It's for the Dell encryption module.

    Hello, I don't remember what this module.
    I would like to ask you a question maybe stupid, the WWAN slot is possbile to install a mSATA? is true or false.

    Don't quote me on this: but I don't think the Latitude E6x30 series can take mSATA drives in the WWAN bay, but I may have things confused with the E6x20 series. You'll need a Latitude user or Dell rep to confirm that.

    Regarding the encryption module, Dell offers that as a way to encrypt your hard drive, instead of having the CPU encrypt the data, the module does the job.
