I'm using a SFBag, love the sleeve from them. I'll post the bag size in a bit.

If possible, could you post a picture of your E6400 in the sleeve?

I'm considering a Horizontal sleeve with no add-ons.

So I ended up getting the SFbag for my E6400...expensive but worth the quality IMO. The vertical bag does look kinda weird hanging off my shoulder instead of the traditional horizontal bags but I'll be using my backpack to move it around for the most part.

I ended up going with a standard Targus 14.1" sleeve in addition to my laptop bag. I just went to Best Buy since it wasn't that much cheaper online anyway. Fits pretty well surprisingly.

I use the incase sleeve for the 15" Macbook Pro for my E6400 w/ a 9-cell battery. It would probably be too big for the 6-cell but it perfectly snug for the 9-cell.
The inside lining is SO soft and fluffy; I've considered turning it inside out and using it as a pillow for a quick nap between classes. The outside has some rubber on the edges. It isn't tough enough to protect the laptop if you dropped it.
I use this sleeve w/ my laptop backpack (a discontinued Eastsport-Walmart backpack) and have no reserve tossing my backpack on the ground. The sleeve makes it much easier on my back. I carry laptop in my backpack everywhere, everyday. Without the sleeve it would bounce against my back, which was annoying, hurt, and probably wasn't great for the laptop.

I have that sleeve from Deal Extreme. It fits the 9 cell E6400 very well. I like that sleeve a lot. It takes less than 2 weeks to ship from HK to California.
