    for the past years, i realize that my laptop's palm rest gets faded or oil residue form skin and batt bottoms gets scratched from uneven surfaces

    for my 3 mon old latitiude; i placed stickers / skins to minimize them.

    I usually just clean my palmrests, keyboards, and other laptop panels with an alcohol+water solution every week or so. That process even kept my old white-plastic Averatec white ;)
