Looking at ordering a E6530 with the FHD screen as I heard it's a bit better than the 900p version. I have an E6500 with a 1440 x 900 screen and depending on what I'm viewing, some text is about as small as I can read without glasses, and know a 1920 x 1080 will be smaller. I can change the text size through the control panel to Medium, but heard it doesn't always give clear text or other images. I tried this on my E6500 and didn't see any problem, but can someone give me an example of a website or program where changing the native resolution of a FHD screen causes a problem?

I'd rather stick with an FHD screen because theoretically, I can enlarge the text, but I can never get the real estate back if I go with the 1600 x 900. But I still want to be able to read text without my cheater glasses. An downside to the FHD, beyond price (and finding the right configuration on the Outlet)?
    Thanks!

GPU-Z is an example of a program that doesn't like DPI scaling, iTunes doesn't play nice with it either.

    Thanks Tijo,
Don't use GPU-Z, and probably use iTunes for audio-video where native res. would not be too small.
