RGB LED Display - Orange Color at the Bottom Left Corner

I received my M6400 with 1920 x 1200 RGB LED Display, I just noticed that at the Left Bottom corner there is an Orange type color shadow, just on top of the Start buttom in the taskbar, is this normal ?, do I have to ask Dell for a replacement ?, do I need to do any color adjustment configuration ?, thanks

 

My Covet does not have any color shadows, though I would like to find out why the two bottom corners are brighter. Wondering if I should ask for a replacement as well.

 

I have the same orange shadow. Didn't noticed it before I read your post

 

In Vista (default) with Black taskbar you will not notice, if you go to the standard theme (Classic) with the gray taskbar, it will be there

 

Could someone please post a pic of the orange shadow?

 

Darn you, Brosen, I have it too. On Xp I unlocked the status bar, moved it from view, and dragged a white notepad screen down to the bottom corner.

I have to say, it is very,very faint (seems to change according to the angle), is certainly not something I'd ever have noticed without being told, and certainly not something I'd send the machine back over.

 

I have the orange shadow as well...

 

My Covet appears to be ok. I autohid the taskbar (Vista) - the notepad test did not show any shadow or other color for any of the corners.
I also cannot tell a difference in brightness for any corner.

 

Good to know, I guess some displays have more uniform brightness.
