Im getting my Vostro probably tuesday, the 560gtx/corsair430w/pciadapter probably friday or monday. Dont have a Radeon only the internal 3000hd. :|

I'm not quite sure why no updates are required, is it an hardwaresided upgrade? I mean dell must have changed something...

Dell have been generous with their TOLUD/TOLM setting on your Vostro's bios. Perhaps as a result of feedback the DIY eGPU community gave to them about their C2D/i-core Latitudes?

WE have no Vostro 3x50 DIY eGPU implementations as yet. You'll probably be the first so based on your feedback we'll be able to see what issues present themselves, ir any. Based on the prelim TOLUD data obtained above from the HD6630M 3450, I'm tentatively going to say it will be a plug-and-play experience with minimal fuss.

Well the latest bios on the dell homepage is from 29/03/2011 which seems to be a bit too long ago. Maybe its not released yet?

I just bought a Dell Latitude E6320 i5-2520m with 4GB RAM. Upgraded to 8GB myself. Updated from 32bit WIn7 prof >>>64 Bit Win 7 Professional

Not sure if I will be doing the eGPU thing in the future but would like to know if it's possible and would like to help out the community so here is a screenshot of my laptop. So what does this mean? Can I get the eGPU?

Your TOLUD is 3.25GB, so yes you can run an eGPU.

Post a screenshot of the memory section of your device manager so we can see your TOLUD.
