A couple of days back, I cracked the lcd on my precision M4400. Before taking the plunge and ordering the replacement part from dell, I was wondering if anyone had recomendations on a better (cheaper) place to order from.

It is the WUXGA Samsung RGBLED Dell part number TR217 id SEC5443. Thanks!

How much is it going to cost from Dell? I can find a WUXGA RGB LED screen on eBay for $500, but I bet this is just as or more expensive than what Dell would charge. Doesn't look like there's anything cheaper through Google shopping either...

Dell quoted me $619. $500 would be good, but I'd want to make sure it was a reliable vendor on ebay.

Cool! Thank you for the link. I'll probably go this route.
