Replacement DVD-RW for E5430?

Does anyone have a part number for a DVD-RW for a Latitude E5430? Have a friend who bought an E5430 with no optical and wants a DVD-RW.

Will the drive E5400/10/20 work in there? See a bunch of those on eBay.

As long as the thickness of the optical drive is the right one, check whether it is 9.5 mm or 12.5 mm, any optical will fit. The bezel might not be an exact match to the laptop, but it'll at least work. Alternatively, you could just call Dell and order the part from them.

 

You don't need the part number, just look for something like "E5430 DVDRW" on eBay. I'm pretty sure you can use the ones from the E6x20/30 as well; just get whatever's cheapest.
