I just upgraded my e6400 to Win 7 pro. I don't think I should have done the upgrade route, I'm getting a lot of minor bugs I also had from Vista that must have carried over through the upgrade. Anyways, if I were to completly reformat my HDD and reinstall Win 7; how could I do that with only the win 7 upgrade dvd from dell? Would I have problems with activation?

Just backup all your data, boot from the upgrade DVD, choose a custom install, quick format your old partitions, perform a clean install, download any Windows Updates, then activate. It sounds complicated, but it's all straightforward :)
