Hey there. First post in this section.

I may be taking a job for a small software developer as technical support and since I'm kinda down to an HP netbook and a flaky Asus G73 gaming rig I'm thinking about picking up an M6700 a little bit down the line. I'm going to be doing a lot of work with multiple virtual machines, lots of database stuff, some minor coding stuff, etc... if I land this position a powerful mobile machine would be quite useful.

I'm finding some pretty decent configs on the Feebay for a good price, but I'm noticing that many of them come with the low-res 1600x900 display. Not really my bag.

Some time ago I put a pretty nice matte 1920x1080 AUO B173HW01 V5 panel in my G73, absolutely love it and it works perfectly. My question is that if I found one of the 1600x900 M6700s tempting enough to pull the trigger, would this display work? I've heard it might be compatible, but could anyone here confirm that?
