    same here, my company is based in the UK but manufacturing is in malaysia, so i spend quite a bit of time in malaysia/singapore where the ambient temps are quite high, and in spite of the high powered graphics in my M4400 it handles it well.

    if i were you'd go for it, seeing that u cant wait til Q2 next year for the intel platform refresh.

    the E6500 would serve you well, and thers great deals in the outlet.

    If the GT215 would be made into a workstation level card, it would definitely be more than 28W or even 35W. The FX 770M is based off of the 9600M GT, which has a TDP of 23W. All workstation cards have a higher TDP than their consumer counterparts. The XPS is a different story since the HD 3670 and HD 4670 use the same interface and can be replaced, newer nVidia cards most likely will use a different interface and hence the motherboard will have to be replaced.
