Does the 15.6 FHD version (1920 x 1080) screen only come with the Nvidia 4200m graphics card? To put it another way, are there any Dell E6520 Latitudes with the FHD screen that only has the Intel HD 3000 graphics?

    Thanks

Also, are the Dell E6520 FHD displays really nice? I know it's still a TN panel though...are there two FHD screens that were offered in this laptop?

Yes, the FHD (1920x1080) display can be paired with the Intel HD 3000 graphics on the E6520. If you look in the Dell Outlet inventory, you probably won't find any with that configuration, but you can configure one that way.

The E5520 proves that the HD3000 can be paired with the FHD. It has the same 1920x1080 display option available but the E5520 is only offered with Intel HD3000 graphics.

There is only one FHD (1920x1080) option available on the E-series. It has a very high maximum brightness level of 300nits (vs. 220nits on the standard display). It also has a Contrast Ratio of 600:1 vs. 400:1 on the standard unit. It is a $129 upgrade on the E6520 and $99 upgrade on the E5520.

To get a higher-quality FHD display, you have to step up to the Precision M4600. It has two FHD options, one being the same unit used on the E5520/E6520 for $50. The other choice is an IPS RGB-LED with super-wide viewing angles and capable of 100% of the color gamut (the other FHD covers 60% of the color gamut, which is quite good for a non-RGB display). This display is nothing short of AMAZING, but it comes at a price- $449 for the upgrade.

Okay, thanks a lot for the info.

I have a Dell E6500 that I will never get rid of because the 1920 x 1200 15.4-inch LCD display is so amazing. It puts the newer E6410 LED screen to shame. Great contrast, beautiful colors, and the highest pixel density outside of a Macbook Pro Retina screen.
