If you order online, when do they charge your credit card?

I need to order a new machine through our company, and get it charged on this year's expenses.

Usually depends on the company and how quickly or slowly they do their billing. Sometimes I charge at Game Stop come home and can see the charge on my account online. Fast! :)
When you make the purchase they should be able to tell you.
I would think end of year ----companies would want to get everything they can on the present year..so the books look good at year's end.

They put a hold on your card for the full amount as soon as your order is confirmed. They charge your card as soon as the item is ready to be shipped.
