The power brick for my Vostro 1500 has stopped working so I can't charge my laptop. I'm not sure if its the cable that goes from the brick to the mains or the brick itself, basically the green light on the front doesn't come on and it makes a beeping/squeaking noise in a pretty rhythmic fashion.

If I wiggle the plug that goes into the brick around sometimes this fixes it, so maybe its something to do with the connection between the holes and the pins? Anyone else had this problem?

My 1 year warrenty has just expired so I thought I would see if anyone knows what the problem may be before I splash out on a new charger.

Cheers for taking the time to read this, any help would be greatly appreciated!
