Problem with usb keyboard on Dell Vostro 3560 (laptop)

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with Dell Vostro 3560 laptop (the OS is Windows 7 Professionnal in 64 bits).

In fact, when i connect my usb keyboard (the brand is dell) on the laptop, i don't have a problem (the usb keyboard's driver achieve without problem) but when i disconnect the usb keyboard, the screen freezes and i'm obliged to restart my laptop.

Everybody have already this problem ?

I need some help because it's for my company (i work in a computing company) precisely for a colleague.

Everybody could help me please. It's very important.

 

Does it happen on every usb port?
Does the freeze occur when you unplug some other device, like a external hd or mouse?

 

When i plug the keyboard on the left ports, it works but if i plug the usb keyboard on the right ports, it's doesn't match.

The freeze occures only for the usb keyboards not for external hd, mouse etc.

Have you tried multiple keyboards, and does the problem also occur in BIOS?

 

same here the laptop came with preinstall DELL image windows 7 pro when used a USB keyboard the system hangs. Then we installaed Windows 8 enterprise on it and updated the bios but we still have the same problem with the USB keyboard. Today an engineer came en replaced the motherboard without any suscces. we are now waiting for DELL to call us back with an option.

 

if you have vmware player 5 installed please uninstall it and try again. it worked for us.
