Problem with new NVIDIA driver for Vostro 1700

    I just got an email from Dell saying the NVIDIA driver for my 1700 finally has an update. After downloading and unpacking the driver tells me there is no hardware on my machine that applies.

    Anyone else having this problem?

    Shows no updated vid driver for me in the UK.

    Haven't ran a Dell vid driver for a long time. Been using the Laptopvideotogo modded inf drivers until Nvidia brought out a notebook GPU driver of their own.
    Forget the Dell driver and pop over to Nvidia and download the new notebook graphics driver.
