Hi guys, i know there have been threads with this question... but no helping answers.
The Mobo Comes with two possibilities- one with LVDS port and one with eDP. None with both. The ones with the lvds will have no possibility to upgrade - i have found no solution here. But eDP has a 30 pin socket. And i have found some Panels with IPS and 30pin eDP Input. Beside of a misfitting shape - will it fit electrically? Has onyone tested to bring in such a new Display?
The other solution could be the M6600 "IPS upgrade". The converter has a eDP 30pin Input... the Mobo a 30pin Output. Is there any Chance to connect both? Is a 30pin eDP layout normed?

For example:17,3" LP173WF4 (SP)(F1) is a very cheap IPS Panel with 6bit/Color; the split LVDS for the M6600 upgrade has 10bit/Color. My actual LVDS has 6bit too. What will be the difference here? Is the best one with 10bit and RGB-led back? Or an IPS with W-led?

The end of the Story should be a photo realistic Screen in the M6800. Yes, an external Monitor could be better and cheaper- but then i have to carry two Things with me.
Any helping Solutions? Please let me know.
    Regards Tom
