I am looking for a very simple, fast, reliable and stable Operating System to use it as the host OS for VMWare, I am planning in running many VM simultaneously, but I need a VERY STABLE and ROBUST host OS, is Windows XP x64 the right choice for the M6400 ?, thanks a lot

lol, nope, server 2008 is based on roles, so you only install what you need.
i have a copy of server 2008r2 with the hyper v role installed and it uses less resources than my copy of vista !

I just installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on my new Dell M6400. So far the wireless driver does not work. Do you have any tips for getting all the stuff to work that would work on Vista 64bit (or even Windows 7 64bit). Where to find drivers or configurations for 64 bit Vista drivers...to get them to work?
