I am having issues with my Brand New Precision M6400 and the Intel 5300 wireless card, I have a Linksys WRT600N double band Router, I have configured Wireless N in the 5Ghz band and Wireless G in the 2.4Ghz band, I have no problems connecting to Wireless G, it works fine, but I can not connect to Wireless N, I've tried many different things and does not work at all, only G, any idea what might be happening?, which routers are you using?, are you getting full speed (270Mbps) with Wireless N?

I have the same setup. I have not noticed any problems. I'm traveling at the moment, but can maybe compare setups next week.

What firmware are you running in the WRT600N? DD-WRT?

WAIT... Try setting you security to WPA2 - AES encyrption. I seem to recall that is what it takes to make N work...

If not, we can compare setups when I've back in town.

Are you using the Intel PROSet software for managing connections? I have had problems with connections using that software. I had to disable the Intel PROSet software and let Windows handle the connections. Haven't had any problems since.

I have the same setup. After a bit of research I found that the Intel card does not support the wide (40 Mhz) band on the Wireless N channel. Set it to 20 Mhz, or Auto and it should connect right up.

Are you sure you are connecting with the N Band, yesterday I checked mine and was connecting to the A Band using 5Ghz.

I've tried everyting, N Band alone no G, B or A, using 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz, no positive results, it does not work at all.

I've been able to connect with no issues to Bands A (5Ghz) and G (2.4Ghz) but N does not work.

Please any help is welcome, I do not know what else to do, thanks
