The (750GB) HDD that came in mine was 7200 RPM. I have heard that the HHDs they're shipping are 5400, but can't say for sure.

im getting SATA3 on both Msata and main hdd (i put the benchmarks in owners thread) , optical i only haver a spinner in it but i would imagine it also is sata 2/3

EDIT : just checked AIDA and its showing sata 3 on the optical , which makes sense , its a sata 3 chipset so unless dell actively reduced the speed somehow than they should all be sata 3

    Hi all,

All new here so greating to you all. Just got my M4800 and now I'm here

I'm trying to find the primary hard-drive bracket for a M4800. I'm not after the Second HD that's suposed to go in to the DVD slot. I need to find the bracket that the primary drive is mounted in. Since it's easy (push of a button) to "pop" the primary drive out I'd like to be able to have different "primary" drives. Just power of the laptop, pop out the drive, in with another and boot it all up again.

I however does not have any luck in finding it anywhere so now I give it a try here. So if anyone knows the partnumber or anything useful about how to find one, I would be very thankful
