    Hello,
Just got my M4500 and I seem to have a little problem, when it enters windows for the first 2minutes it has some small freezes , I have an ssd 128gb and Win7 64bit, i7 820 and 8gb RAM so i'm thinking this is mainly caused by the hard, but I did not find any post related to this problem or any setting in BIOS or otherwise.
PS even in High performace and Ultra performance power option the same thing happens

Should be able to cycle through using the FN and Backlight Keyboard key. I didn't test it. If you have the DCP software installed should be able to set it there.

In other posts I think in this thread, I believe others solved this by uninstalling or perhaps disabling the Dell security software. Search earlier in this thread for others with the same complaint. (If I could find the exact post I'd give a link, but I don't remember where it is in this long thread.)

Do the posters with freezing issues have SSDs by any chance?

Can you post results of this SSD PM800 mSATA from CrystalDiskMark ? I am also considering to buy it, but I could not find any benchmarks.

I ordered my M4500 from the outlet! $1004 total for the config very close to what I wanted.

Now, I'm going to get a 500GB HD. What do you guys suggest? I'm looking at either the WD Scorpio Black 500GB, or a Seagate Momentus XT. I would like to know if there are other reliable brands out there that offer 500GB and 7200rpm. It would also be nice if they had a freefall sensor, but if that's not really necessary, please tell me. Currently, I'm leaning toward the WD and will purchase one right now if you guys think it is a good idea.

I will also get an enclosure so that I can remove the 250GB included drive and use that as a backup/media device.

    What do you guys think?
