    Thank you,

    From the M4400 product brochure:

The WUXGA are coming, but we don't know when. Apparently, the FX 1700M GPU will become available next month so I assume the WUXGA options will follow shortly thereafter.

IS the RGB LED screen going to be true 16 million colors, to compete with the new HP screen? or whats with the name, sounds like there is something special to it besides being LED? any guesstimated on the premium cost for it?

What is the 2-CCFL anyways, double the back light, is it supposed to be really bright or what?

    1. What is 2-CCFL and what is the difference over CCFL?
    2. What is RGBLED? Is the same that "LED"?
    3. What is the difference between WUXGA 2-CCFL and WUXGA RGBLED? Advantages? Disadvantages? Moreover, in the brochure appears that RGBLED will be "TrueLife".

I'll attempt to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge:

    1. 2-CCFL displays have two backlights instead of the standard one. These displays will be noticeably brighter and, I believe, more evenly lit.
    2. RGBLED will be an LED-backlit display capable of displaying true 16.7 million colors.
    3. As I said in 1 and 2, the difference is in the backlighting and how many colors the screen will display accurately. Both will carry the same 1920x1200 resolution.

    Thank you ElectricTool.

I'm thinking about buying a M4400 with WUXGA resolution, but I don't know if choose 2-CCFL (Matte) or RGBLED (TrueLife) screen, when they are available.

I only have seen a Dell TrueLife screen (XPS M1530), and it's really nice.

    We'll have to hope!
