    Hi All,

I came across this forum when surfing for an answer on this, any info to a newcomer appreciated.

I've got an M20 which I bought new and has just gone out of warrantee. It runs from battery ok and the battery charges fine on a D610.

Charger goes short when dc jack plugged in and green led goes out.

I've put a scope on the 19.5V and it ramps up to 19.5V and then seems to get crowbarred back down to an oscillating 0.6-5V which appearing as a short circuit at AC-DC with DVM.

Tried another AC-DC from D610 but same result.

I've changed the DC jack already.

Circuit diagram would be good or if someone has experience on what's possibly happened so I can look further. I believe the M20 shares it's motherboard with D610 so any info or experiences with that may help out also.

    Thanks,

    John
