Precision club in Dell Community?

There are surely reasons why we’re hanging out here and not on Dell Support Forums. One of them could be that there is way too little “granularity” over there. It’s hardly possible to build a sense of ‘community’ when there’s one forum mixing all laptop lines together, including, say, Inspiron.

However, there is a couple of exclusive “clubs” over there. At present, it’s Alienware and XPS. (The XPS club is about to be shut down, though.) The Alienware club is live, however tiny in the number of posts in comparison to Alienware forum here.

It struck me as unfortunate that there was no Precision club within Dell Community. Surely, there’s this forum, but would there be any benefits to having a specialised Precision support forum over there too, as there is Alienware club? Could there be some users who would sooner find that forum than this forum? Would there be any issues better discussed over there, albeit under Dell’s moderation? Could that make Dell pay more attention to them? Could that make Dell realise that mobile Precisions are not only strictly for engineers and designers to run ISV-certified apps but a weapon of choice for anyone looking for the ultimate laptop? (Unless the one looking is gamer first and foremost.) Would that benefit the Precision line?

If you have an issue, you can do a quick search of that thread and this part of the forum specifically to see if there's a solution already posted.

Obviously, we don't expect you to read every page of threads as large as an owner's thread, but a quick search can save everyone involved a lot of time.
