Very sad. TB docks need extra space and I would also miss additional cooling provided by extra space between laptop and the table when it's inserted into e dock :(

On the cooling end, still no shot of the bottom, the vents on the side may be the air intake vents now...

I almost never take my 7720 out from my e-Port dock. On the other hand, if I almost never take it out, the loss of time of plugging in both a Thunderbolt connector for the T-dock and the power cable is almost negligible too, so that wouldn't be a big deal to me. Although it seems like they haven't confirmed the Xeon chips inside the new Precision series, the use of ECC RAM all but guarantees it.

I have trouble using more than half of my 64 GB RAM in any given day. But 128GB RAM - it makes me think of spawning a VM instance entirely in a RAM drive. And that, in a 15" laptop!

Maybe Bokeh could jump in and give a review and some pics next week - he is always one of the first to get his hands on the Precisions :)

I use two 4K displays and a 1080p display with my 7510 at work. The TB16 dock can power the two 4K displays but that's it, so I also have the ePort dock connected and the 1080p display is plugged into that (as well as power).

I was thinking about how I would set up a 7530. The new systems have two thunderbolt ports so I guess I could plug in two TB16 docks? Or otherwise my third display would have to be connected directly to the laptop HDMI or mDP.

Anyway, then I got thinking. The TB16 can provide 130W of power to the system, so it can fully power a 5000-series Precision (no extra power cable required) but not a 7000-series. Could two TB16 docks power a 7000-series without an additional power cable needed? (It could certainly deliver enough power, it just depends on if they set up the laptop to accept power from two sources in this manner.) Hmmm...

Specs on the P3200 are close to the same as the P4000. Will be more than a 1060. This gives the 7000 series a 15” VR option.

We have Xeon offerings on all 4 products. 3530, 5530, 7530 & 7730. The specs sheets that were posted seem to be missing those.
The specs sheets are wrong. We will have Xeon processors available on all 4 mobile workstations, the 3530, 5530, 7530, & the 7730. Here are spec sheets. I can only post these 2. The website states the others are too large to post. You should be able to download them from Dell.com

The NVIDIA Quadro P3200 on the 7530 makes the 7530 the first 15" mobile workstation that is Ready for VR.
