Do the power bricks (PA-9E) for the M6500 work on the 7710/7510?

That's exactly what mine looks like. Worked on my old alienware, worked on my M6800 and works on my 7710. Dell power adapters (generally) are completely cross compatible. Just make sure you get one with enough watts (the 240w is the best for anything but the most extreme alienwares)

Then you should be more than set.

7710 still uses the same 240W PA-9E brick. 7510 uses a 180W brick but it is totally happy to accept a 240W.

I've been using our m6500 with my 7710 powerbrick and vice versa. In fact I can't tell which one belonged to which anymore.

As long as you get the plug, voltage and minimum wattage correct, any power brick should work. Larger ones that provide more than enough power will work just fine. It will just pull what it needs, leaving room for more. I have 2 240w bricks for my M4800. Ive read that a 180w brick is good enough, but why not just get the bigger ones.

Thanks. I have a stack of bricks for my M6500; it sounds like they'll work with either the M7710 or M7510 just fine.
