I just received my Precision 5510 and have run into a major hurdle in getting my Samsung 950 Pro M.2 drive encrypted. The drive only supports Class0-AES method for hardware-based encryption (bios password). While the 5510 bios has a setting for HDD Password for SATA attached drives, there is no option for M.2 drives. If no SATA drives are attached the HDD Password setting disappears altogether. I've tried flashing to the latest 1.0.7 bios with no change. It seems crazy to me there would be no M.2 password support. Anyone find a work-around? Thanks for the help.
