    Note :
Use Throttlestop to bypass CPU clamping. I can now use Turboboost as well as beeing at 0,6Ghz idle, even with 130W charger or on battery.

Hi guys - my story. I bought a laptop a long time ago, the video card was a quadro 2000, upgraded to 5100 without any problems, bought on ebay. Recently I decided to update the video card bios to a modified - and I have a brick m5100. I made a BIOS backup, dropped the microcircuit and rewrote it on the programmer - but the brick also remained, I also downloaded the official firmware from the site, it was different from mine in the code - but still a brick. I will try to buy a new empty BIOS chip and write the official firmware inside. I will write if it turns out to restore.

In an M4600? How did that go? I see there's a green PCB version and a blue PCB one.

What'd you pay for the m1000m? Looks pretty expensive upgrade for these laptops. My m4000 cost 22$, m5100 I've seen for as low as $30.

Hello friends, I'm sorry I didn't answer. Yes, I had 4600 with m1000m, it started and worked, but windows did not want to start in any. I think it has something to do with the software. I also had to modify the cooling.
