Today I got an error when starting my Vostro, something about battery not detected. So I restarted and the error didnt occur again.

Now my battery is at 4%, I've got it plugged in but it says "plugged in, not charging". Is my battery stuffed on this 2 week old notebook??

plugged in. not charging? thats really weird. I would call dell and see whats up. No way that your battery deteriorated this quickly. Your problem may be that your battery is not fully attached to your laptop. yes, take your battery out and put it back in. If that doesnt work, just call up dell and tell them your problems

Although the first step would be to see if your wall outlet is working. ;)

That one stumped me until I noticed the fan had died too. Then I thought maybe some of the spyware from my dell had latched onto my fan...?

my battery is always charged BUT sometimes when I start my 1500, It beeps at me and a black screen stated that it can not detect the wattage of the wall charger so I need to press "F1" to continue bootup.
