For some reason I thought that the Precision M4400 offers a Blueray option - but it looks like I'm wrong...

    I second fattire's advice.

I had a D630 for a year and just upgraded to an E4300. Very happy with it so far. My D630 with 9cell battery weighed in at 5.8lbs and the E4300 with 6cell battery is 3.9lbs. That's almost 2 lbs lighter which makes a difference if you travel often, as you mention (my shoulder thanks me). I dock my notebook at home with a 24" screen and that's where it gets used most for work. So dropping down to a slightly smaller screen was worth the weight savings when I'm traveling. You do lose a little screen real estate though (I had 1440x900 on the D630 but the only option on E4300 is 1280x800). Integrated graphics are fine for anything but 3D games, CAD, etc. The E4300 also runs cooler and quieter than my D630.
