Hi just wondering if anyone has heard any more news on this laptop. I understand that is the m4300 replacement, with a 2.5 ghz processor and a quadro fx700. Can anyone confirm this and provide a spec sheet? I heard mid August.

    Kyle.

It is good news.....hopefully they are as well built as the previous models........the only bad thing is Dell is taking their time releasing them which means probably 20% of monte lifecycle has gone by the time shipped.

I bought one today. It seems like you can get them cheaper than a similarly configured Latitude. They have like $300 off then you can take an additional $130 off by down grading the processor. Also there is no additional cost for XP downgrade which is a bonus. I added LED screen and DVD/RW and it came to like 1550 after tax.

The card looks to be a 9700GTS Core. But the good thing it is a 256bit based card. So it will be close to the old 8800GTS Mobile card in performance.
