    ..anyone else get this?
I'm running Vista 64, ad very occasionally when I try to hibernate the machine (either docked or un-docked) it waits for 5+ minutes with a black screen and then reboots.

Any suggestions as to how I might be able to find the culprit?

I haven't really had those problems (well a few BSOD on first loading some MS patches, but it is the patches and it should be all fixed now)

I am not sure this is an answer for you, but I got rid of Vista and loaded Win.7.. it seems really great... and I hear had I just reloaded Vista things would have been fine there too...

Can't really run Win7 as I am running a development environment - so everything needs to be very stable and predictable.
