If anyone has experience with an Nvidia 5010M in their M6600, could you please report here your experience of it? Does it run hot? Does it slow certain things down? Have you had trouble finding drivers that make it work instead of crashing your computer?

I do not have or play any games on my systems (more interested in the likes of Autodesk, Matlab, Avid, and CS5.5 Master). However, I would be interested in hearing reports about any experiences with this graphics card - games, Windows, anything. Please share...

I can find no online reviews of this graphics card at all. What's up with that?

Could M6600 users who have this card please share their experiences, thoughts, and/or feelings about it? Thanks...

We have one at work and its super fast and runs smooth as butter... The price difference from the 4000M to 5010M though might not be worth it.

5010M stock runs faster than 4000M overclocked. You can also enable or disable ECC on the memory.

Does not run any hotter than the 4000M. Runs cooler than the AMD card.

Power consumption on battery is same as 4000M.

    Zero issues here.

I have a 5010M in my M6600, and it runs great. No problems at all, I have had computers in the past that had slowness at times, video crashes, etc., none of that here. I just got it about 3 1/2 weeks ago, I immediately installed the latest NVidia driver - in fact at that time I installed a beta driver, Nividia 295.51, because I had crashing problems with a 280s production driver on another laptop (M6500) and its crashing went away with 295.51. I just recently installed the production 295. 73, and all is great so far.
