Does anybody know why the option for a webcam is not present on the Precision M6400 64bit configuration page (US)? This seems like a really basic option that should be available on their flagship machine. Thanks in advance for any input you could provide.

It is! Well I certainly have a webcam in my Covet and I configured it with Vista Ultimate x64 bit. :)

Have you tried using the Large Business area of Dell website to configure? This always has the most configuration options. (and maybe too many options, can be a bit overwhelming)

Thanks, I figured it should be available, and I would swear it used to be an available option through SMB for 64bit. I tried asking through the Dell chat, but the extremely unhelpful woman simply told me it's not available, and never was available. Upon asking why it wasn't available, she first said that she doesn't know, as the configuration department doesn't tell them their reasoning. When pressing the point, since its available on the 32bit one, she decided to tell me that there are no 64bit drivers for it, even though the M4400 64bit can be configured with it. Anyway, thanks again for being much more helpful than the Dell people, and I'll check out the Large Business section.
